Do you make presentations at meetings or educational programs?
Are you thinking about teaching?
Getting up in front of a group of people can be hard but keeping them interested and motivated can be harder. Helen Maxwell has been a community college instructor for many years and a phlebotomy supervisor. She has written many articles on phlebotomy, she has been a speaker at many medical organizations throughout the country and has been an expert witness in the field of phlebotomy. Let her guide you through the way a presentation should be given. Tips and tools will be given to you to help spark your audience. Mrs. Maxwell and her assistants will help you learn how to keep your audience INTERESTED and MOTIVATED. This program is not just designed to get you ready to retrain your Phlebotomists when LFS and the state of California says it is time to do so, but to help you give any presentation smoothly and effectively.
(This will be an intermediate level of learning)
Who is eligible to take this program?
A Phlebotomist that has 3 years of working experience out of the last 5 years, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Registered Nurse
*** The above professions have been considered eligible by LFS to teach Phlebotomy.
